Discuss your Property and Service Needs

After utilizing our online quote request form or placing an order in your client portal, our staff will contact you same-day via your preferred contact method. We will clarify all details needed about your appraisal and answer any questions you may have. Our staff will then provide you with a fee quote and will let you know how long it will take to complete your request.

Step 3
Step 3

Schedule Your Property Inspection

Most appraisal types require in-person inspections. If your service requires a site visit, the next step after processing your order is scheduling a time for the appraiser to visit your property.

Our appraisers have inspection availability Monday-Saturday. Our office staff will coordinate with your schedule and find the best time that works for both you and the appraiser.

Step 4
Step 4

What to Expect at Your Site Visit

At the property inspection, the appraiser will take his own measurements of the home and any additional improvements on site, view and analyze all construction materials and their quality, and take photos for use in the appraisal report.

Upon arrival, the appraiser will begin with the exterior inspection. He will take exterior measurements of your home utilizing a laser measuring device, and will inspect the overall exterior quality and condition of all construction materials.

Once the exterior inspection is complete, he will then need access to the interior for any additional measurements he may need and to inspect the interior quality and condition. This is also a great time to ask questions, and advise the appraiser of any improvements you have done to your home since the time of purchasing it.

Step 5
Step 5

Market Research and Report Composition

Once your appraiser has collected all of the physical data he needs from the site visit, he will then begin the process of performing extensive market research, comparing your property to other similar recent sales in your market area.

This process typically takes between 24-72 hours. For more complex appraisal assignments, additional time may be needed to gather and analyze all of the necessary data.

Step 6
Step 6

Receive Your Appraisal Report

Once all market research has been completed and the appraiser finishes composing the report of his findings, your appraisal will be ready for delivery. Electronic copies of your report will be delivered via email as soon as it is complete and payment is collected. Paper copies can also be delivered via USPS upon request, and are included in the cost of your appraisal.
